HB Gold Edition Tiger Tank (1 Viewer)

We recently were able to aquire a Gold Edition Tiger that had never been out of the workshop in Buenos Aires. It was made by the sculptor to promote the new Gold series.

There weren't that many Gold Tigers produced...making this a very special item.

I thought Gold Edition meant choosing options and a camo scheme, not that it was a gold colour. I guess the winner could have it painted? Or would anyone just keep it as is given that it is probably the last one made by HB?

Actually, this is a sample tank that was painted in desert camo. It was made prior to the other Gold ones (to show what they could look like).

Are there any other paint schemes still avaiable....$249 is not a bad price but this one would be a definite repaint for me....What would a good re-paint cost??..

I would contact Alex Prieto (alexdakar). Aside from Panzer, he's probably the only one I would trust for this job, no disrespect intended to anybody else.

For those interested in buying it, I would consult the Tigers gallery thread in the HB section to see what scheme you like and provide that to the painter you choose. That's what I will do if I bid on it...and win

It's a late model Tiger and would not have been in desert camo, so a paint job is necessary. That could add $100 - I'm just guessing. Unless the buyer can paint it himself. Does anyone know who won it.

Decals for the numbres and unit insignia should be easy to get.
