I just picked up HB's new German Hunting Team Winter Engineers set # HB46 from TF, and I'm really happy with it. These figures are extraordinary. Take a look at the pics, and let me know what you think. This is my first full HB set I have purchased (I previously acquired a partial set of 3 of 4 tank riders that I also was quite impressed with), and I can assert that this will most certainly not be my last :)! Great job Ana and Co., and thanks for the enjoyment your creations bring :D. In the background is my favorite Figarti vehicle, the winter prime mover. (One fine set deserves another :p!)

Here's one more pic for those who have yet to buy any HB sets and are wondering how they may mix in w/ other manufacture's figures. The pic below shows one of HB's new winter engineers alongside one of my favorite K & C Bulge soldiers. Even though the HB figures are a little thinner, I think they go very well together. Furthermore, IMHO, the stylistic differences inherent in each manufacturer's vision compliment each other extremely well, adding to the realism. :)

What took you so long Panzer ace-this should have been a pre-order for you! Did you get both of the German releases?

You need a Toy Soldier Personal Assistant! How about a "Parasoldier." HB45 (German Winter Foxhole) is the other set my friend.

Happy Hunting,
Marc

Thanks Joe for posting.

I loved these figures when I first saw the prototypes at the Chicago show. I have them now and glad I do.

You're welcome very much Carlos! I love these new HB figures. I was just blown away by how good they were when I first removed them from the box. Tremendous work indeed, and they work well w/ K & C, imho. I'm glad you got this set, because it appears to be a fast mover.

Joe & Carlos:

You guys hit it on the head. This set is too good to pass up. The more I look at it the more I enjoy it. And it does go very well with K&C.
