So I picked up a WW2 DVD from target for $5 to watch this weekend at my inlaws house. My CS King Tiger arrived as well. So, I really spent the weekend in nothing more than a 6 hour WW2 extravaganza between time spent with the kids.

I found myself staring with enthusiasm as great battles in the Pacific, Eastern Front and the fall of Berlin were recounted. All the films were out of chronological order and many of them had really bad 80's synthesizer effects dubbed over it but know what, between watching all that footage and playing around with my Collectors Showcase King Tigger, it was a GREAT WEEKEND!! ^&grin

So, looks like I am officially throwing my hat back into the WW2 arena with more vigor- love weekends like that!!

hi Chris,

Did you get the crew loading ammo as well? That is a sharp looking set. I can hear my old NCOs cussing it up when we had to reload the ready racks, lots of skinned knuckles and broken fingers in the dark which was when we seemed to be on the Ammo point during resupply...

negative- I got mine as a result of a one for one trade- my KC King for a CS one.

Funny thing night ops- the enemy can't see you but you can't see what you're doing either!! ^&grin HOOAH!!
