Hi All - I've visited this forum a few times and really wanted to part of it as I think it's the most comprehensive forum related to 1/32 and similar sized toy soldiers.

I reside in the Western US and collected Marx Toy Soldiers and battle sets as a kid growing up in the 70s. It wasn't until the last couple of years that I got back into the hobby with Ultimate Soldier, Forces of Valor (FOV), and Classic Toy Soldiers. Unfortunately, my remaining Marx collection is limited to army men. While I also like 1/18 scale action figures and vehicles; as I'm sure most of you are aware, the potential for larger dioramas is possible with the smaller scale.

I'm mainly a fan of WWII but also like Civil War, Western, and other historic themes. I've got a modest collection of Ultimate Soldier and FOV vehicles mixed with a few other themes and enjoy taking pictures of a small tabletop diorama as well as photo-editing with various backdrops.

I especially like WWII North Africa-related scenes and mdse., and am considering getting into Collector's Showcase.

Here's a few recent shots just to say hello:

Hi WesternOutlaw,

I, too, want to welcome you to the Treefrog Forum and to say "Thank you" for posting your terrific photographs. I believe you will find many friends here and there is certainly no shortage of WWII collectors with whom to share your interest.

My participation in the forum has enabled me to greatly grow as a collector, has allowed me to make wonderful friends, and has resulted in my obtaining much useful knowledge. I believe you will have a similar experience, especially if you visit often and post frequently.

Again, welcome to the forum and, above all, have a good time!

Warmest personal regards,

Pat :)
