Just wanted to pop in and say hello. I'm Chuck Harris' daughter in Tennessee. I've joined up so I could ask questions about some of the soldiers in his collection.
As some of you may already know, my father passed away in February. My step sister, who has also joined the forum, and I are trying to sort through his vast collection of soldiers, models, books and trains.
I have no experience with this sort of thing so please be patient if I ask what seem to be really stupid questions about things that are probably common knowledge to ya'll. Thanks!

Michele,

A couple of weeks ago I had sent a private message to your step sister offering to help since Chuck joked to me a couple of times that one day this would be my problem so I'm more than willing to help.

You can also reach me at blewin2222@aol.com

Best regards,

Brad

Welcome to the forum, and I think you'll find we're all more than happy to help you.

Prost!

I have been helping Sara with some of the identification from your Dad's collection, and of course am more than willing to give you any help you need. Your father was a good friend and a better man. The world is a poorer place for his passing.

I am very sad to hear of Chuck's passing. Had several pleasant phone conversations with him and learned he had a house here at one time.This is a good source for set information and free to join.http://mytoysoldiercollection.com

Thank you everyone.

This is going to be a slow going process for me in getting his stuff listed. I'm under the user name bbdentman at Ebay. Shared with hubby.
The books Dad had are really going to take me awhile to go through.
I did my first listing tonight of a Alymer figure.
Sara and I both feel like we're taking a crash course in WW2 history right now.{sm2}
