Hi all,

I picked up the following figure as part of a set of 6- all Crimean War Grenadier Guards- but on closer inspection, I realized the officer figure is something of an odd man out. The photos attached below (if I did this right) show the figure in question- no markings on the rounded off, hexagonal base.

The other 5 figures appear to be part of Dorset Soldiers set# 1401- Grenadier Guards in Great Coats (4 riflemen, 1 flagbearer- photo of one of each below). The base on these is different and they all appear to be marked "GSB C 1982." There was no box with the set, but I liked the look and the price was right, so I picked them up anyhow. Happy to learn more about them if you all can help.

Thanks in advance,

Allen,

This looks a lot like a conversion or casting based on the Britains officer in the Yoemen of the Guard set. The picture below is a reproduction from London Bridge in PA. The detail on the coat appears to be identical. The base matches too. What do you think?

Best regards.

John

Jackson-

Thank you for your help- the base and figure look spot on. I think I have an answer to my question.

Thanks,
Allen
