I remember that some nice German WWI soldiers "with gas masks in front of their chest" (Glossies) where posted here somewhere on this forum. I simply do not remember where. I searched the usual suspect threads but could not find them. If my memory serves me right, there where 3 identical figurines shown in the picture. Would be great if any nice member could help me to find the figures I´m looking for.
Thank you
Wolfgang

The reason I asked, I made this resin copy of the old Elastolin Reichswehr Stabsarzt and would like to convert him for duty in the trenches.

I thought of Fusilier, but a look through their online catalog didn't tun up any WWI Germans with gasmasks, in any pose. Neither has Tommy Atkins, nor Tradition. Sorry!

Prost!

I looked through my MKL catalogue and the Trophy WWI section didn’t show any Germans with gas masks although admittedly it doesn’t list or show everything.

I know @Louis Badolato has a good WWI collection so maybe he can help.

I've Seen Regal (an Australian company compatible with Trophy) German Infantrymen wearing gas masks. You might try having a look at them. Trophy did not make any WWI Infantrymen wearing gas masks to my knowledge.

Real shame, albeit all your friendly feedback I could not locate the picture yet.
The Trophy (style) as well as Regal appeared to be the most promising hints, but no
luck so far. Finding some general pictures about German soldiers of WWI wearing a gas mask is not really difficult, but the creator of the figurine I am looking for did a real great
job sculpting the gas mask being worn at the soldiers chest (after previous use that obviously is). To sculpt that is rather difficult in order to achieve a convincing overall look. To illustrate what I mean I add pictures of my draft conversion. I plan to add a towel or something similar into his left hand and let him wear a gas mask in front of his chest.
As sort of an aftermath on doing an operation during an gas attack. It is only a draft so far. Still if the photo I am after does pop up somewhere I am most happy to receive a shout.
Thank you everybody for your troubles.
Regards
Wolfgang
