they do Ancient Greek there- sounds NAPOLEON1ER gave you as good an explanation as you are going to get but they might have some additional insight.

To second Chris, if you care about Ancients (Romans, Greeks, Persians, Egyptians, etc) That is an awesome forum. Brings legit historians, serious re-enactors and replicators (craftsmen who recreate ancient equipment and structures) together. Some fascinating stuff.

Be careful though, they count rivets, straps, plates and grains!
