Hi, where to get those nice palm trees for your DESERT diorama? For how much $?

I am looking for nice cheap palm trees but JG and Buidarama too expensive for me.

Check out craft stores like Hobby Lobby or Michaels around fall when they start stocking their Christmas items. Some of the Nativity accessories such as walls, palm trees, and the like can go work with certain dioramas. Dept 56 also can work but can be more expensive.

Ebay - look for Dept 56 sellers and dealers - sometimes you can get a good buy on them.

I know this will sound odd but, have a look at Aquarium Ornamints. A company named TOP FIN, makes a Coconut Tree and a Desert Palm. The Palm tree comes in two sizes, 6'' tall & 11:5", $17 & $20. The trunks are resin and the leafs are soft plastic. You can find then at PET SMART.

They got some good Greek & Roman ruins to.

Actually I had the same problem about a year and half ago for my Egypt Line...in the end I bought JG's from Tree Frog and they are EXCELLENT.....they were alot of money in my books for trees...but...truthfully my Egypt line would have never looked as good as it does if it weren't for these trees from JG...they are so good they actually make my toy soldiers look of a lesser quality...I would go with JG, you WILL not be sorry they are the best!!!!
