Hey guys, I've got a college class on British Imperialism, in the next few months I will be working on a paper, the subject is a choice given by the professor. Here's the topic I cut and pasted:
The Boer War.
Possible arguments: (1) the Boer War broke out because Kruger and Milner had incompatible visions of the future of the Transvaal. (2) The terms of the Treaty of Vereeniging show that the Boer War was actually won by the Boers, not the British.
Is there anyone out there who is knowledgeable about this subject, and can point me in the direction of resources, namely books, that will help me write a 20-page paper on this subject?![Eek! :eek: :eek:](data:image/gif;base64,R0lGODlhAQABAIAAAAAAAP///yH5BAEAAAAALAAAAAABAAEAAAIBRAA7)
He also said we could pick our own topic, but there has to be some sort of argument that fuels the paper. So that being said.......I was thinking something to do with the Zulu wars, anyone have any ideas for arguing a paper on this?
And/or anyone have new ideas? (has to deal with British Imperialism
)
Thanks in advance, I thought you guys could help me out![Smile :) :)](data:image/gif;base64,R0lGODlhAQABAIAAAAAAAP///yH5BAEAAAAALAAAAAABAAEAAAIBRAA7)
