Could someone please measure the length of the whole train and carriages and gun on carriage the complete train, please in metre's.
Mine is in storage and I'm looking for a cabinet for it thanks very much.

Hi Wayne, doubt you will find a cabinet long enough.
You have the loco and boxcar wagon that I do not.
The gun on carriages is 1 meter exactly. (100cm)
The Gondola wagon, light and loose flat cars are all 35cms each, so 3 x 35 = 105cm
Passenger wagon 28cm
There is a third flat car with upright stakes which I do not have which would be 35cm also.

So I have 5 of the possible 8 ( my five total 233cm)
Guessing the loco is at least 60cm, plus flat car & boxcar say 63cm, so another 123cm.

Total length 3.56 mtrs.

Would like to see photos when you lay it out. Mine runs along the floor of my man cave.

My train pictured is around 1440mm (1.44 metres) long.

Get your train on some tracks in the man donga mate, it's tragic that it's not seeing the light of day..{sm3}

Thanks gents I've found two cabinets big enough I budgeted for 3.5m just wanted to be sure.

That loco is plenty big. Really nice and in hindsight should have bought one when they were available. Robin.
