Hi Guys,

A few responses to a few different posts…
1. “The Shrink is Nuts!”
Well, that might be a little strong perhaps… but my friend was only providing just one of the many reasons people collect toy soldiers (or anything).
Personally I love the military… and history… miniatures of all descriptions (trains, boats, planes… toy soldiers) and… I’m a control freak!

2. “Scale Differences”
Over the years we’ve worked with a variety of sculptors and different guys interpret different figures… differently. We are trying to be consistent however and for the last few years have had the same talented guys working with us so, hopefully, less noticeable differences.

3. “Less Expensive Aircraft”
It is K&C’s intention to also go down this road and we hope the new “KOMET” is just the first of many.

4. “Fully-horsed Gun Teams”
A four or six horsed artillery gun team is definitely not for the faint-hearted or those without deep pockets.
Expensive to produce… expensive to sell… expensive to buy!
I think in today’s chilly climate K&C will let some other lucky company have the pleasure of producing that baby!

Adios for now,
Andy C.

Hi Andy,

thanks for the feedback.

New RAF range?

The guns have to get there somehow though Ron. :D

That news is encouraging about the airplanes, I hope K&C is able to see those projects thru to fruition. One of the things I love about this forum and about Andy's K&C is that its not a huge faceless corportion. Its run by fellow, passionate collectors/history enthusiasts who listen and care about their product and the people who share their passion. Honestly when was the last time a corporate CEO or government official actually reponded to direct messages or concerns? Keep up the great work Andy, you have my dream job!

That is quite true and would seem to apply with equal force to the other popular manufacturers represented on the forums here.

I'd settle for some foot artillery, just to keep me occupied for a couple of years while Andy works out the details of a really spectaculer SL horse artillery set:D:);)!

Ive seen this a few times now and am quite curious, how come French Line Artillery is depicted wearing their packs while manning the guns? Wouldn't that be a nuisance when trying to load quickly?
