Some of their figures were ahead of their time!
Martin
The full range of ZUlu was sculpted by Cliff(ord) Sanderson in end 70ies
Here a picture of a diorama made by N Abbey with those figures as seen in the shop " Under 2 Flags" in London in end 70ies

His first commercial work was for Jackboot, where is name was changed by Jackboot owners in Saunderson
Then he worked for Greenwood and Ball making a Roman Slave market and some nudies in 54 and 80mm, followed by gladiators, some Normans, a range of English Civil War period in a tavern with tables, chairs, serving girls, a Press Gang, the sack of Rome, very nice Victorian including a small girl selling flowers, and a large range of Fantasy vignettes
some 80mm like
German SS 2ndLt, 1943
Adolf Hitler, Party Uniform, 1933
Ernst Rohn, S.A. Uniform, 1933

made a superb Sepp Dietrich for Acorn

worked for Monarch USA making The Pirates of Tortuga, the Arabian 1000 Nights, Nero dining party and a Harem serie also edited by Tomker Models
lot of nudities in his work including some xxx ( under the brand Rufus)
For Hinchliffe he also made splendid Spanish Infantry
List of his work with pictures, can be found on my site www.mirofsoft.com in the section Sanderson and Nostalgia Old Catalogs
Enjoy
