Dear Fellow Forum Members,

Rick Wang asked me to tell the Forum that he cannot access the Treefrog Forum again. If you need to contact him, please use e-mail.:)

What happened?
Dear Brad,
Rick is still waiting for a response from the Canadian ISP on whether he has been put back on the "BLOCK" IP address list -- he hopes the comments in the other thread regarding our cousins to the north did not trigger some reaction.:(

Holly crap, how PC do you want me to be. P.S. I won't be.

I would love to read that post! Glad we live here and not further north.

Dave

OK Guys, I'm back.

After apologizing night and day to the Canadians for comments made by my fellow forum buddies, they unblocked me again. :D Just Kidding.

We are in a five day holiday in Shanghai but will be back to work on Monday. I will try to post (Sneak Peek) on some of our upcoming releases.

Rick

I look forward to seeing your new stuff. Any news on the Abrams Tank you had the prototype for at the West Coaster?

Good you're back (again!). Will you be making more desert releases in the coming future after you finish with the latest Stuart?

Hi Louis,

We have put the Abrams on hold because I did not think the response was that great at the West Coaster and Shi Yong (Our Production Head) felt we have much to improve on if we plan to launch it.... so, its on hold for now.

Hi Brad,

We are so busy with new lines that we have not really talked about our next desert tank. Perhaps you can help us take a poll on what Figarti should consider to be our next tank series.

Rick

Hi Rick and welcome back - again. Imo polls are to limiting unless they are broad based and then they are almost useless. Perhaps a separate thread suggesting models would be better. Posts can be fussy I know, but you can usually glean something useful from the varied comments.

Imo you can't miss with a WWII armoured vehicle and the German based items are the most popular there. However most of the better known tanks such as the Tiger, King-Tiger etc have already been almost done to death. So I would suggest a variant of one that hasn't been done as yet, of which there are many.
And if you can do soft skinned vehicles such as an Anti Aircaft or Anti Tank gun mounted on a truck chassis your opportunities are endless. I note that FOV have such a vehicle coming out soon and I'm sure it will be a must have for most 1/30 and 1/32 collectors.

It figures, darned blue noses, those Canuks seem to make a scene about every little thing, including some self-inflicted stereotyping.:D

I told you I won't be.:p
