As Andy is away, will we get March's dispatches when he gets back?Was about to place an order but would like to know if there are any WW2 retirements in March before i do.Thanks for your help

Yes you are not alone mate.Also my wife suffers from husband monthly order nervous anxiety disorder!

Hmm - this is a good question that we don't know the answer to.

Last year he had the home office send the Dispatches while he was away - so perhaps he'll do that again? He may be waiting to make 'official' annoucements at the West Coaster too.

My advice - buy now AND buy later :rolleyes: Then again, I'm a bit biased ....

Are you getting this nasty weather we are? We're looking at a foot more of snow today (we got about 15 inches over the weekend) with lots of ice to boot. We went an hour without power this morning (working in the stock room by candlelight!).
 
Yeah, the weather is very winter like. We got about that much, maybe a bit more maybe a bit less, but it's coming down pretty heavy now as I type this.

What I can not believe is the end-of-the-world talking heads on the Mpls/St Paul TV stations. You would think this was a blizzard in Florida or that snow was as bad as a force 10 hurrican or a volcano erruption. With newspapers, if it bleeds, it leads, with TV talking heads if it snows, prepare for the end of the world as we know it. What a bunch of idiots.

If the NHS is paying for K&C on presciption NO wonder they are not going to give a great pay rise this year.:eek:
 
Man oh man, do I have a really great idea. We get the FDA (US Food and Drug Administration in the US) to determine that "monthly release anxiety disorder" or MRAD (menses solvo sollicitudo incompositus in Latin) is a validly existing medical condition treatable by certain proven prescription medication. It just so happens that that the certain proven prescription medication can be provided only by K&C, John Jenkins, HB, or any other miniature toy figure/vehicle manufacturer recognized by the National Monthly Release Anxiety Disorder" Association (NMRADA). Guess who the membership of NMRADA is...just guess...yup, it's us, members of the forum.

So whenever you have an overwhelming urge to have toy soldier miniatures, as a result of your now known medical condition, you just go to your family Doctor, the Doctor recognizes the symptoms and writes a prescription. You then go to your local miniature toy figure/vehicle dealer to have them fill the prescription. Health insurance or Medicare/Medicaid would cover the cost of the prescription over $14 (the amount of my current Blue Cross/Blue Shield health insurance co-pay). And if you are a disabled veteran (several others and me on the forum are), the VA covers the cost at 100%.

So at the beginning of each month, I get a sudden attack of MRAD. I go to the Doctor and he prescribes a couple of K&C new releases and a few John Jenkins sets and a new HB tank. All paid for by insurance.

What a deal….what’s that you say, “wake the **** up.” OK so I am dreaming, but what a great dream eha.:) ;) :) ;)

I like it . . . did I mention that my mother in law (whom I adore and who loves me) is a doctor! I'm not kidding. If you can pull it off, I can get the prescriptions!
