Hiitler's heroism in Great War "exaggerated" according to a new book (1 Viewer)

Hitler was essentially a messenger during WW I riding a bicyle or on foot. He was not at all a front line trench soldier but a HQ's runner sent from one outpost to another
simply due to radio communications was non existant ! He did capture a few French soldiers during one of his jaunts as a runner and was gas attacked on another ocassion. Ultimately he received the Iron Cross for his actions but never was a full out frontline trench fighter. If he was then a whole different chain of events would have transpired during the 30's and 40's in Europe and germany. He was definately lucky
on numerous occasions dodging death throughout his entire life ! I think a book titled "Hitlers luck in Life" would better sum it up.
