Hing Fat originals (2 Viewers)

Hing Fat, the Hong Kong manufacturer has released a WW2 bucket of 120 toy soldiers for 12 € (15$) (what you call Army Men, right?) with original poses:
If the US soldiers are Matchbox copies, Russians, Germans and Frenchs are full originals (never seen before).

I think since these are brand new it may take a little time Amazon has a lot of other HingFat sets so I would guess they will eventually carry these.
My question is aren,t HingFat figures really small?

I see one Airfix 1/72 WW1 Frenchman in there. Back row, second from the left.

I like these figures. They have a very nice "toy" quality to them with lots of character. My favorite pose is the German in the field cap with one arm raised and what looks like a very short mutated MG42 in the other hand.

I think I'll be getting a bucket for my boy and I to play with when they come to the US. It's so nice to see some decent WW2 toy soldiers aimed at kids again after years of the horrible scrawny, brittle and undersized Matchbox, TimMee and Airfix clones they have been pushing at Walmart and the Dollar Stores.

I've been wanting to add to my MARX FRENCH INF for decades here's my chance!
The SOVIETS are not bad ether, but most of the poses really suck in this set.
The GERMANS are the worst of the bunch.
Pretty much all 3 of these sets will need custom work to bring them up to an acceptable standard.
The AMERICANS are so worthless I wont bother, but I will buy two buckets to ensure that I get the right amount of copies for each pose.

I can see copies of TSSD, Matchbox, Timmee and Italeri here just for starters. I guess if I was really bothered, I could name what all the original figures were, but let's face it, these are barely o.k.
I'd rather pay out and have the far better quality of the originals.
In my book, you buy cheap, you get cheap.
Hing Fat have never been known for quality - and are they REALLY 1/32 - that is, 2.25inches tall???

Hi Steve - I will pass on these as well, far too much poorer quality figures as it is in my collection currently without adding more. I've read they fit with the "new" 1/32 scale. As far as Hing Fat, their copies of Air Fix 7th, and Indians from the 80s (?) are great! Real nice SP, in flat cream, and red/brown. Just a tad smaller than the originals, fit closer to Marx 1/32. Oh! The saddles, horses, and riders fit together better than the originals as well

Just got myself a bucket of four armies, same as the OP (thanks for the info on the 'dreamland' stores!!). Didn't get all the poses but I am still very pleased.
I got them for my sons, therefore I am not very concerned with accuracy/pose issues, except the shape of the german helmets.
What mathers to me most is the quality of the plastic used (which is good) and the quality of the moulding (very crisp). I find it very hard to find a decent set of plastic soldiers in toy stores nowadays. At least here in the Netherlands. They are generally very badly moulded and are made of very brittle plastic. They don't last very long and suffer from breakage in the packaging. And they mostly smell toxic as well. With these new figures, those problems are solved. A good toy product.
