HIRIART August 2016 Delivery (3 Viewers)

This month I received a new delivery from Hiriart with 60 sets for 20 collectors including six sets for me. This represents the first half of the 2016 order (the 12th I have placed since 2005). The balance of the 2016 order, also with 60 sets, should be shipped in either December or January. I will have 15 sets for me in that shipment.

This is what the order looks like after I have gone through it making sure that all is in order and after removing he Styrofoam dividers which separate each figure and the foam rubber piece which goes on top of the figures. Surprisingly, it usually takes the better part of a day to do this. The Styrofoam spacers are messy, so I regularly vacuum as I go along. Finally, I organize the sets by collector as in the last photo.

This is a special version of set 1027 21ST LANCERS, SUDAN with the figures not changing and the officer wearing a spiked helmet as ordered by Michael. He also ordered an extra man, not shown.

This is set 1033 PREUSSEN INFANTERIE ordered by Collin.

This is a special variation of set 1033 Preussen Infanterie that I ordered for me: 1033 SPECIAL BAVARIAN INFANTERIE in cornflower blue with backpacks. Guillermo made it up as the 13th "Franz Josef I" Bavarian Infantry Regiment. Bob liked the set and he now has it, so I am ordering it again for next year, but with the regiment's flag rather than the Imperial German national flag.

This is catalog set 1038 SULTAN'S TURKISH GUARD w/MEHEMET V as ordered by Andreas.

Bob, Brian, and I ordered this special version of set 1038 SPECIAL SULTAN'S TURKISH GUARD wearing red tunics and gray Kolpaks with red tops instead of white tunics and red fezzes.

Steve and I ordered set 1057 ESCUELA MILITAR URUGUAY which is a handsome set with three flag bearers. I ordered my set with two extra men and I have already added it to my Hiriart South American display.

This is set 1083 RED DEVILS ordered by Ed which now includes a drummer and a flag bearer. The photos are a little darker than they should be---my flash was a little out of sync with the shutter.

This is set 1087 PRINCESS PAT'S CANADIAN LIGHT INFANTRY which was also ordered by Ed which now includes a flag bearer. Again there was a problem with my flash.
