Ed ordered set 1273 the ROYAL 22e "VAN DOOS" REGIMENT CANADA which is a corruption of the French word "vingt-deux." They are also known as the" Beaver Regiment" because of the beaver depicted in their regimental badge. This regiment consists of soldiers of French origin from Quebec.

This is expanded double set 1278 HUNTING TIGERS AFTER THE HUNT that was ordered by Fred (VA), Tom, and Tommy. I am showing just stock photos since I did not want to remove all the packing from the three sets we received.

Ed, Tom, and I ordered set 1281 CLEAR LAND which I must admit that I don't have a clue as to what the title means. It use to be called MOUNTIES, DOGS & WILD BEAST. In any case, it is an interesting set that I gave up to Bob at our Hiriart distribution get together last month. I have reordered it for 2017 and will keep it the next time around.

Gus ordered a non-catalog 10 figure SPECIAL DOUBLE set of the 1ST ROYAL HANOVERIAN UHLANS which was based on set 1301 SAXON UHLAN castings. Collin and I also ordered Hanoverian Uhlan sets, but with five figures rather than 10.
