May I ask what is the animal/structure in the foreground ?

Is it a python twisted around a tree stump ?

Well, about selling the set, it's choice time: I am focusing on other eras and manufacturers, I need the room and some $ won't hurt either, so it is now looking for someone who really appreciates it...
