I had an awesome day at Brattonsville. It was 90 degrees and humid, but there were a ton of trees around to provide some shelter from the sun. Some of you may recall the use of this place in the Mel Gibson movie "The Patriot".

I also got to meet Patrick O'Kelley and have him sign a copy of one of his books for me. He has a series of books out on all of the battles in North and South Carolina titled "Nothing but blood and Slaughter". I got him to sign the book on 1781. A very nice guy.

Thx very much for posting all of these photos and info. Very interesting - I'm not an expert on the Revolutionary War - so this is all new stuff for me.

Thx again,

Jim

Thank you for posting all these wonderful pictures. I have a friend who attends this event each year and he's told me a lot about it. It was good to finally see everything I've heard about all these years.

Thanks for the photos, looks like it was a good re-enactment and display.

Prost!
Brad
