History being made. (1 Viewer)

I know the hobby as a whole is really trying to attract younger collectors and doing something that directly appeals to them would really help. To that end, I think K&C could do an incredible series involving construction. They make great figures and tractors, bulldozers etc are not far off from some of the armor that is already made, at least track wise.

Interesting thought, but I think if you truly want to attract "younger" collectors, it would have to be something like "Harry Potter", "Twilight", or something else TV/movie/video game related.

Colonial America would be nice.A Mountain Man series of the early 19th cen.would be great.Hawthorne Village makes some nice village sets.

If Coronation Street can be mentioned then I would have to suggest figures from the Carry On series of movies. For those in the USA who have missed out a must see series !!!!
A range based on Flashman would also be good.
and for Victorian London don't forget Sherlock Holmes although somebody must have done him.

I had thought of that too, but the trademark, copyright fees and/or royalties would make that an intellectual property nightmare. If a toy soldier company was going to do a 'non-toy soldier' line they would need to be enticed by some sort of cost effective plan that was not filled with complex legal pitfalls.

What would you guys like to see made that does not have soldiers in it.I think Old Chicago with gangsters cops and building back drops could be fun.Cigar smoking thugs with tommy guns and bullet riddled cars damsel's in distress.Paper boys selling on corner streets so much to play with here.Have you guys got any other ideas without soldiers in them.Simmo.

I would love to see the Purple Gang. Chicago and NY have nothing on the gangsters that came out of Detroit. The Purple Gang controlled the booze so NY and Chicago sorta were at the Purple Gangs beckon.
