I am just curious how long Little Legion Toy Soldiers has been in existence? Their figures look very nice to me. I didn't think they have been around that long. Can anyone give me a bit of their history.

Little Legion have been in existence for about 20 years and started as a painting service buying unpainted castings from other companies and producing them to a professional standard, Mike having been a painter at Trophy. After a while Mike started to produce his own range of figures, some made by himself others being commissioned. The main thrust of production was on the Zulu War, and by now Mike must have the largest range of this period world wide. Lately he has begun to expand his Sudan range but has not neglected other periods as a look at his website will show. Like other cottage industries Mike does not retire items and in consequence produces one of the largest ranges of figures on the market. Trooper

I certainly appreciate the answer. I must say I am impressed by little legion figures.

You should take a look at some of Martyn's (GICOP) threads. He has quite a collection of Little Legion figures, to complement his Trophy collection.

Little Legion is a great company and Mike is a very nice guy having met him in London. Currently I am awaiting the arrival of the Large Arab Dhow to compliment my Sudan.
