That sucks, I had heard Paragon was working on releasing new sets of Cavalry. I guess that will never happen now.

The Hobby Bunker is planning some new colors for the Paragon range, including metallic blue cavalry.

Matt...

congrats on acquiring Paragon Scenics...
did they used to produce this "mountain pass" piece?
it was a 2 piece product about 18"s long and 18"s high...
it came either painted or unfinished...

I think they used to also produce a Gettysburg Devil's den...

I used to own the mountain pass piece...
but sold it...which I regret...

I would like to buy another if in fact this is one of their pieces and you are going to produce it...

I did not see either on their link...
was this a Paragon Scenics piece?

please advise...thanks...

A few more pictures of the rock formations that in my case work like a harm as Khyber pass senarios for the Northwestern campaigns....

The mountain pass and Devil's Den were made by another company, not Paragon, I forget the name of the company, he planned on doing another Devil's Den piece, then he fell off the grid and that was that.

He's out of business and those molds are God knows where.

Luiz,

I loved to see the Stadden Black Watch column proceeding 'Up the Khyber' in your diorama.

Seems that the Afghans always win the war though ..... !!!!

Well done,

John

I remember those foam terrain pieces George! They were made by Traverse Dioramics. I used to have the the mountain pass and enjoyed it for many years. It was one of the finest foam scenic formations I have ever seen. I dug out some old photos of it.

Traverse; thanks Joe........................outstanding display you created.

And yes, his pieces were tremendous, he also did a farmhouse piece that was really, really nice. Too bad he stopped trading, he and I talked about a few subjects and it would have been nice to see any of them produced.

I was lucky to take the Farmhouse, a very well done building. Unfortunately I have never found the mountain pass, I hope to get it sooner or later.
Carlo
