I just got a couple of acquisitions from the HOBBY BUNKER's side room. If you can do repairs on figures and have the time to poke though what they have, there are a few bargains. I got these two adobe houses that need some slight repairs for $5.00 each.

An old unpainted Rose miniature. This series must be over 50 years old.

These loose WWI AIP Infantry were in the outer area bins. I found multiples of the poses I like for less than the price of a new box.

Hi Scott,

Those are great purchases! Congratulations!

Warmest personal regards,

Great acquisitions and a great price. Really like the buildings

Scott those bulidings look great and for that price WOW :salute::.
At first glance i thought you had them sitting in a sand pit then i relized it was in fact the brown felt you picked up.
I have been holding of getting AIP WW1 sets for way to long must get some %^V

I wasn't going to do WW I but I may now. Be sure and get the "army" set as the USMC set is too rubbery. The late war Germans are pretty good a well and the Hobby Bunker does offer the 4 for the price of 3 deal that AIP offers on-line.

I'd like to get enough WWI British and Scots to swap heads, putting helmets on the Scots.

I had not planned on getting any U.S Troops {well not for sometime anyway} think i would start with early war Germans up against French & British forces.
but thanks for the heads up on the USMC figs as im getting sick of rubbery figures.

I think AIP stopped making the Marines. The AIP early war Germans look great! Add the Uhlans as well. The problem is that only AIP's Russians and maybe the Scots units work for 1914-16. All other AIP WWI allies are 1916 or after with helmets. British Lancers excepted of course. I sure would like to see early war French in kepis and British in caps.

Hat did a good set of early war French with kepis in 1/72 it would be nice if they did them in 1/32.
Im still hoping AIP will do some ANZAC'S ^&grin..
