This is a program on PBS that was first broadcast in 2015 and 2016. It takes place in a small English village, Great Paxford, as World War II is starting and the men are going off to war and shows what's going on in wartime England as the villagers adjust to a different life. Some may not find it sufficiently exciting as it primarily focuses on the women of the village but it's quite engrossing.

It's an excellent series.

Funny you mention this one Jazz as it's popped up on our UKTV channel this week, which is interesting timing considering 'Dunkirk' has just opened here too.

It does look like a good watch though.
