Haven't seen a thread about this series but I find it one of the most compeling on TV. Been on for several seasons but it really hit it's stride starting last season when they took the politically Correct gloves off and freely called a spade a spade in the real war on terror.
Flawed characters making some mistakes in a merky underworld of the most base criminals and hate filled part of the world. But the program is unafraid to display the bad side of Intelligence/counter terrorism from the west, CIA, FBI and all the pro western security and counter terrorism world wide.
The speech by one of the main characters to a Meeting of our counter terrorism secret meeting in episode 1 this season put our enemies in the most secinct terms I've ever heard it expressed.
If your interested in current affairs without all the political spin of the media and our administration, this is must see TV!

Am having trouble bothering with the current series. Now on very late which is an indication ratings must be down.

Totally ruined a good character, Peter Quinn the CIA killer, by giving him serious mental issues.

Used to look forward to it but now just waits on my recorded playlist for when there is nothing else to watch.

I personally think the series is under-rated and I particularly like the screwed up characters.

The manipulating of news and social media is on the money and very relevant in today's world.

I find much of the PC TV rubbish being pumped out to the masses now a days boring and predictable trash, requiring only a few brain cells to comprehend at the most basic level.

Homeland at this stage has my vote for something worth watching.

Have thoroughly enjoyed this show since ep 1. It's often dark and grim but compelling and thrilling too. More please!
