Just got my first Honor Bound set – HB52 – which is three Ranger medics attending a wounded Ranger. Thanks to George at Minuteman.
I really like the set, the sculpting is very good, the poses look really good and are action orientated and the set displays well together. I like the Ranger medic who is dashing forward best because I think it is a realistic pose as he is sprinting to another casualty or safety. The colour of the uniforms looks appropriate and is not too bright. I had a minor issue (and I mean minor) it would be from behind some of the arm/body joins are not as smooth as those front on. Here are some shots of the group and individuals.
Here are some comparison shots with the KC Rangers and I think the largest difference is in the size of the figures – both are meant to be 1/30th. The HB figures are no where near as bulky as the KC figures / HB are lean figures when compared to KC; up close the difference it noticeable but in a diorama less so.
Cheers
