Dear All,

I have an update about Honour Bound but it not good news. The economy here in Argentina has been very unstable, especially for manufacturing and we have worked hard to adapt to the market requirements and increased production costs as you have seen by the changes we made last September. Now the dollar has gone another 10% while inflation has increased 30% and we have no choice but to cease production of our Gold Edition vehicles.

Thank you to all who have supported us by buying Gold Edition vehicles and have encouraged us to keep making our highly detailed miniatures. We really appreciated that you stayed with us when we switched from regular vehicles to Gold Edition ones.

We know that some people will still want a final chance to order Gold Edition vehicles so we and our dealers will take vehicle orders through September 1st and once we have filled those orders we will cease making vehicles. We will continue with our line of highly detailed figures however, and I will explain more about that in another announcement.

Thank you so much again for your support. We fully appreciate it.

Ana,
I'm truely sorry that the vehicle side of your company is not working, you have created some stunning pieces, and I'm the proud owner of a good few. I look forward to the continuance of your line of figures.
All the best,
Simon

Thank you so much, Simon. Yes, we're actually turning all our attention to figures, with a regular production of new sets and limited editions.

That sounds an interesting development. Look forward to seeing the results.

Sorry to hear that Ana, but I am sure you will have much success with the figures, they are excellent !!!!

Ana,

I'm very sorry to hear that as you've made some excellent vehicles and they were very influential as to the possibilities of what manufacturers could do.

Lo siento.

Regards,

Ana-
Sorry to hear the news. You guys made the best WWII vehicles from day one. If that can't cut it, then nothing could. Maybe we can hold out hope that HB might jump back in someday! Best of luck.

Ana, the last set of Germans were fantastic, as I said I already pre ordered the next 2 sets. Looking forward to more figure sets.

Honour Bound- i am very sorry to hear this news. i am the proud owner of 2 of your Panthers. i also own an ambush pattern Jagdpanther which i believe is the finest looking as well as finest made vehicle i have. i came to your product late and have been playing catch-up. i look forward to to your figures and second the hope that you all can get back into vehicles in the future.--lancer

as an Armor enthusiast, this is an absolutely dreadful news...:(

i am really saddened by this turn of events...

HB for me, has fundamentally raised the standard for the 1/30 vehicle, and i will definitely now be scrambling for a camo colour for my 'last' Tiger..

Terrible news Ana. Your vehicles will be sorely missed. :( Thanks to you and all your crew for making this hobby a most enjoyable pastime. Best wishes with your continued production of figures both with HB and Beau Geste.

It is difficult to express how profoundly disappointing this announcement is for me.

I can honestly say it was HB vehicles that got me into the hobby. The first piece I ever bought was the Winter Panther (that commander with the coffee cup is still a favorite of mine). Both the vehicles and figures have been creative and interesting. Who can ever forget those fantastic field kitchens...and the Bergepanther is still one of my favorite vehicles.

I can also say that the custom vehicle option has been the most fun I've had since I started collecting. Thank you Ana and the boyz.

If nothing else I feel HB leaves a legacy of the finest 1/30 scale vehicles ever produced. The hobby is better for it as it raised the bar for all manufacturers.

Thank you, Bill. I know how much you like our tanks :)

Thanks, Frank. I enjoyed all the customization processes with you. Thank you for your accurate information, and for your never ending research.

N-P: thanks. Yes, we are ceasing production of all tanks. Your 2 shermans are on the make. I'll let you know when we have them ready to ship.

WOW! I don't think any of us collectors wanted to hear this announcement. Although expensive, I firmly believe HB tanks were without question the gold standard in the miniature tank industry. My Ardennes HB 76mm winter sherman, along with its specially made extra tank accessories, is one of my favorite displays, and now after this announcement, I will treasure it even more, as most HB tanks will now become highly collectible. Ana, although you and the guys are ceasing production of vehicles, I want you to know that you have made many a collector very happy over the past few years with your highly detailed works of art, that will remain the standard, in which all others will try to strive for.
