Honour Bound announcement (2 Viewers)

Ana,

It's a sad day indeed. I have 4 Panthers, 3 Jagdpanthers, 3 Tigers, 2 Shermans, 1 Amphibious vehicle and a field kitchen and I love them all.

Yes, it's a sad day indeed. I look forward to purchasing future figure sets.

Really sorry to hear this Ana,this is a real shock as HB has been one of the big three Tank producers producing some wonderful models. You made some very fine vehicles indeed and can be very proud of your contribution to our hobby.Your Winter Panther is one of my favourite vehicles.I wish you all the best with your figures and i hope it goes very well for you.:)

Sorry to hear this guys. I only have the one HB vehicle, the Sherman but it's one of the best in my collection.

Thank you, Bill. I know how much you like our tanks :)

Thanks, Frank. I enjoyed all the customization processes with you. Thank you for your accurate information, and for your never ending research.

N-P: thanks. Yes, we are ceasing production of all tanks. Your 2 shermans are on the make. I'll let you know when we have them ready to ship.

Ana

Thanks Ana. All my HB collection: (3 Panthers, 5 Shermans, 2 Tigers, GP Amphibian and my most favorite, the horse drawn Field Kitchen with the cocinero are tops in my list.

Chao!

I am also sad to hear this announcement, as with regard to pure polystone vehicles, Honour Bound's were clearly the best. I have a Panther, a Bergepanther, a Sherman, an Amphibious Jeep, a horsedrawn Fieldkitchen and a food line set in my collection, and was seriously considering one of your golden series Sturmtigers. Your golden series re-opened a nitch in the hobby that, with the exception of Figarti's "Shock and Awe" Tiger, hadn't existed since K&C stopped production of its super-detailed (and very expensive) wood and metal armored vehicles back in 1997. Museum quality vehicles like your golden series and K&C's wood vehicles are one of the main items that hooked me into the hobby back in the early 1990's. I am sad that the economy has stiffled what was an excellent creative effort on your part. I wish you the best of luck with your ongoing figure production, and hope that, once the worldwide economy rebounds in future, we may see your excellent vehicles again.

Ana,

I am truly saddened to hear this news. I can understand the economic problems that have plagued your efforts. I have enjoyed your vehicles and was looking forward to seeing more of my beloved Shermans come to life in your models. Please tell the "boyz" that I have enjoyed their efforts. I wish HB all the best in the figures area and I will look forward to more US figures. I still plan to watch your announcements.

I to am saddden by the news. I just got into this hobby and saw at once HB were the Armor leaders. I went about buying 5 Panthers, 3 Jagdpanthers, 2 GP Amphibians and 1 Sherman, all purchased within 30 days and consider myself very lucky to get them.

Ana, I hope your crew will have their jobs during these hard times. And thank you for your great products.

Paul

Ana, my thanks to you and the Boyz for all the wonderful models you have made over the years.

I treasure my five HB tanks and two figure sets I have, and like many other forum members I will be adding more HB figure sets as they are issued. At present I'm waiting to see some pictures of the promised 'Winter' German Medical Team to see if I like it better than the recent version.
