The latest collector mag included a great deal of info on the Italian efforts in N. Africa. Including some pictures of Italian amoured cars (alas real ones and not KC products). So there is hope.

The Blackshirts with the MKII look good, maybe if Andy gets enough good feedback some more might be forthcoming?.

I saw an Italian War Memoral in the Country of Eritrea in 2003 - it was on a ridge and had the remains of several officers and a Church/Shrine to their memory. It was quite moving and honored their dead very well.

The site is lit up by flood lights whichare power by generators that the Government of Italy had put in several years ago - the same generators also provide power to a small Eritrean Town near the Memoral for free as a Community Service - it was really an interesting place in the middle of no where.

It does seem that the Italian effort in NA is generally either mocked or ignored. This is a shame as it must have been a tragic episode in the country's history.Unfortunately Italy's alliance with Hitler has cast a long shadow and i think the Italian military experiance is seen as inept, cowardly adherence to the Nazi's.Also their efforts are overshadowed by the two main combatants the AK and EA.

But as i say the blackshirts with the MKII look good,i may be tempted.

There must be more blackshirts on the horizon - why would Andy include them with the Panzer II set if he was going to add a few more for the range. His other Italian figures are in tan - these would not mix that well.

I think your right Ron,bound to be more at some point.Hang in there John!
