Many thanks for the suggestion Scott...But at this moment K&C has a very full plate with all our existing series and developing a brand-new range of figures for next year.
PLUS the difficulty of travelling into China (and every place else) delays everything and takes up a lot of time and energy.

The US Marines are selling very well!
So maybe we'll see them again in another battle! WWI or the war in Afghanistan, Iraq ??
But first I enjoy the Vietnam series and what's in the pipeline for it??

I'd like some Tudor series, with Henry VIII and then Elizabeth, lot of characters, beautiful dresses (maybe a bit difficult to paint, but we have a Stuart court!) , English history! It's a pity that this period of history is neglected!
Nice ideas, but i was thinking about it when out for a cycle yesterday [non-lycra, but baggy shorts and T shirt, non racing bike] and I feel a new era/series/war could be Korea, fits in well with the potential market, mainly US [which always makes commercial sense as is the biggest and most valuable], the UK and Australian markets as well. Opportunity to use previous vehicle castings with some adjustments. Tanks from The T34, Sherman, Cromwell, even the Churchill, but also for many they would like another Centurion tank. Could also be a push for a M26 as it could be produced for both WW2 and Korea. Other vehicles such as a Jeep, Haltracks, British and WW2 US artillery was also used in Korea. All of these K & C have produced great versions over the last few years. Modifying them for the Korean war would be great.
Andy , are there any plans in the Life of Jesus series to do the crucifixion?

I hadn't thought of that yet !! The US Marines also fought in Korea. Even Dutch Soldiers fought there was assigned to the American 2nd Infantry Division ("Indian Heads"). And Andy can use BBA sets for the series.

I do find the idea of the Mongols fascinating. There is a range on them of course (forgotten who by) that I'm thinking about. Of all the enemies that might be faced in their time, I think the Mongol's would've been the hardest to beat. The few victories against them seemed to have a lot of luck involved. Except the Vietnamese - those guys really know how to fight.
Another horse people I'm intrigued by are the Numibeans (spelling?) of Roman times. I know there's a range of them available too. If only I could get everything I wanted - I could set both these up against each other!

KC don't start a range that has already been exploited by other companies( apart from the very popular ones like ex.ww2, ww1 etc.).You have so many examples: Robin Hood, king Arthur, ECW, 6 days war,Dickens, Musqueteers, Viet Nam etc.
Vikings, conquistadores and Mayas have already been made by JJD, so, if you like those ranges, you better buy them from JJD ,aslo considering the similar design and style...
KC already said they won't do samourais for different reasons.
American civil war is not either going to be rebooted, I guess....Many other companies do ACW in an extended way, and the theme is rather exhausted.(PS. I don't understand why the ACW artillery, notably the confederate one, has been neglected by TS companies).
So, KC will surely start a virgin or almost range like Falkland, Mongols, or some regiment not yet exploited.

Nah stick to most popular traditional western interest, Roman / Greek Period, Napoleonic, Crusades , Vikings , American Civil war, American Rev War, Zulu War, and what would be great and different Pirates.
