How About Some Market Garden Ideas? (1 Viewer)

That came from Agincourt mate.
The French promised to cut off the English archers' two bow fingers.
After ward s they all gave teh two fingered salute to show they still had their two fingers.

Yes mate,we learned that at school and it enlivened many a school trip back to France :D;)

Well said Scott i dont see the point on commenting negatively about something i have no interest in!!! Thats why i wouldn't post about none WW2 king & country sets as i dont collect them & dont feel the need to to upset people that do!!!

Craig.

Cheers mate!:D:cool:
I couldn't agree more!:D

Scott, don't worry about it mate, producers will make Arnhem as they know it will sell well, thems the facts i'm afraid:).

I wonder what will be coming next for Arnhem.I'm hoping for another Jeep,Mortar team, dead and wounded etc.And in a scene from Bridge too Far how about a guy carrying one of those canisters on his shoulder. There is also a very famous pic of some Brit Para prisoners being marched away, whilst one of them gives the traditional British two finger salute. That would make for a great set:cool:

Rob

I'm sorry but that would just be wayyy tooooo cool!:D

Would make a great vignette!:D

I don't collect Arnhem, except for a few key figures, but I need the manufacturers to make some figures and AFVs I don't want to collect just to give me some financial breahting room. :) And I really do not see how a company making a range I do not collect prevents me from getting what I would like to collect. It will slow it down, which is a good thing. It gives me more time to enjoy each new piece as it comes in without it being immediately pushed aside by the next new ones.

The more successful and profitable ranges a company can make within their production and quality control capacity, I think the more likely they are to take chances on smaller market ranges like Italian or Russian armour.

On a less selfish note, I will not say don't make some items so the ones I want can be made for me.

Terry

Well in future please don't post your opinions somewhere if they are going to be cold and negative toward something a forum member brings up solely for the purpose of enjoyment!
This would seem to be what our First Commandment of posting should be, for everyone!:D -- lancer

I've got to say I'm not very happy with the lack of new items for the Market garden range :(
This is the only K&C range I buy & was hoping for a lot more British stuff by now & make me wonder if it a great seller K&C

Once again, I heard this range .....

How do you fight the temptation , of not going to any other WWII range, I am also trying to have a British only set, But when I see other pieces in the same WWII(european range), I can not help but buy it. I admire Your self control.

NOT AT ALL... this was an Useless and unprofitable operation that just increase Allies casualties for nothing, so no need for more.

Of all the argumentative and just plain rubbish posts i've seen on this forum over the last few years this one is right up there with the worst!

It's almost worth a smile but not quite. :(

Loved Glyn's response. Well done Glyn!

Gents,

I've pm'ed Rod about this so let's get back to the ideas itself. Thanks for your understanding.

Couldn't agree more m,ate!:D

Well in that case no more WW2 germans. After all was not there agression a useless and unprofitable venture that cost millions of lives!

To close this up, I would like to remind that my frustrated comments, as have been called were related to the OPERATION Market Garden it self and not for the soldiers (allies) who fought.

Cheers
