How Do You Buy ? (1 Viewer)

Thanks MD.
yeah that is one of my better photografic efforts I think.
It is indeed from my picture frame dio. All my "shelf-type" dios now have frames on the outside edges. They add a bit of professionalism - and hide my cack-handed efforts with the paint that I slap onto the diorama bases.:)
Cheers

Well, you seem to have a way with the dioramas and the camera. Once you have added another 20 or so troopers to your charge (;)) you will have to take some more of those B&W photos from the same sort of angle...it would be breath-taking.

I am home alone with the kids this weekend, so while they are busy ignoring me tomorrow, I may take out all of my Britains Light Bde and Russian gunners and set up a little charge scene to photograph. I need the daylight for best results with our camera.

As for the original issue of this thread, though I am not currently collecting K&C, I maintain a spreadsheet with upcoming releases plotted out about 6 months, and all of the current and retired items I want listed seperately below those. I try to keep the latter section as empty as possible ahead of the new releases so I can be in a position to get them soon after they hit the shelves. It usually works pretty good for the 4 (now 5) major ranges I am currently collecting. I buy mostly from a shop in Milwaukee, some from EBay, and have made a few purchases from Treefrog recently. I shop about every 2 weeks on average.

How about this, I'll let the misses take the pics while I shop for a change:D. Plus you might even be able to tell what you are looking at if she is behind the camera instead of me:eek:.
