I generally allow them to bid and purchase but every once in a while there is one who is either a troll or just really inconsiderate or just plain stupid.

This time, a buyer won 5 animal lots from totaling about $120. Invoice goes out and I get this reply "can you wait about a few weeks i dont have the money right now the kids will get a late christmas present thannks"

I responded that this was something she should have asked me about prior to bidding and that I won't be holding the lots. Then I get this "im sorry but i have 9 kids and its really hard but my little girl beged me for this please wait untill i get the money please thanks."

So now me BS'ometer is on high and I go check their contact information. This person used their zip code as their street address. So, I'm trying to move those last few lots before the holiday which I doubt I'll be able to do.

I think I'm done with new, zero or low feedback buyers. I hate to do it, but some of these folks turn out to be really difficult because they don't know how to deal with people on ebay or they turn out to be bogus buyers.

I delete their bids when I notice them, but some do get through and that's when the trouble starts.

Do you know a way to block them?

What about the ones whose feedback is private ? I had one recently and could not see his previous dealings. So if I left a negative comment it could not be seen anyway. Not sure why Ebayer allows this.

I think you can do an exclusion in your listing for people with less than x feedback

It also happens with bidders with feedback. I had this one guy use buy now for some items and then say he does not have enough money to pay the full amount. I checked his feedback and discovered from other sellers comments that he pulled the same scam, but they all gave positive feedback. The way ebay works it risky as a seller to leave negative feedback for the buyers even thought they deserve it sometimes.

So if you have never purchased on e bay you may have difficulty getting started. How does one break into the market so to speak

Damien...no....it's not difficult for a newbie to start buying...you make your bid...you win your auction and you pay...every seller would be happy take your money...I know I would...of course I take notice of how many purchases a buyer has...I give it the same attention as I give his feedback and location...but I'm more than happy to deal with him as I'm sure all sellers are...

That's right damian
mikemiller is right
u win u pay rightaway
That's how i got into it and receive nothing but good feedbacks
Fast pay , good to do business with

Good luck my freind

TRY THIS:
Block buyers who:
•Have received 2 Unpaid item Strike(s) within 12 month(s)
•Have a primary shipping address in countries that I don't ship to
•Have a feedback score equal to or lower than -1
•Have bid on or bought my items in the last 10 days and have met my limit of 1 who have a feedback score of 5 or lower

BEST, TOM
