How Do You Post photo's? (1 Viewer)

I see you,ve got the hang of it now!!! Great diorama!!!

One more quick tip on the photo posting lesson though, click on the enter button after pasteing each photo so the photos don,t end up side by side but rather one on top of each other so its easier for us to view. Every one misses that part of the insructions for some reason and makes that mistake the first time.

Do we have to???? Just kidding Joe, please don't ban me.:(

Never to be banned my recently appointed Captain you must realize whether you want to admit it or not that you set the example when it comes to posting photos and Tim I thank you from the bottom of my heart for getting me addicted although others may not. Welcome to the wonderful world of posting photos Private PFEIL and at the rate you've started you'll shortly out rank us which I'm looking forward to. Nicely done dio and figure presentation and looking for more to come our way.....The Lt.

I'm stopping now. I just got a little overexcited with my new discovery.

Brilliant photos. I'll echo Panda, the Lt and fish....Please keep them coming. I have a suspicion that your pictures will get even better.
I still manage to foul up on the focusing but yours is excellent, so I'm going to try and sell my Canon Ixus 900i and buy an even better camera.
Regards
H

I changed the diorama somewhat when I got the Long Range patrol. I went from a full-scale attack on a German base to an ambush of a tank patrol.

Nice stuff Gil. I saw you have the Ancient Egypt pedestal. I've just ordered that. I figured it will work in the little desert scene of the LRDG I have.

This is a totally awesome piece! How large is it? My space is limited, so I usually stick with the usual 10x10 platform. You do some phenominal work.

It is 4' x 6', but I already ran out of space for the North Africa stuff. I had to put the 8th Army figures on a separate shelf because otherwise the diorama would just look overcrowded. I don't know what I'm going to do when I get the Tiger in December.

RH,
Quickest and easiest way is to resize your pic using Microsoft Photo Editor, but I found that you loose a lot of quality by doing this.
A better method is to start an account with Photobucket (just launch a search in your browser). And then open your jpeg with Microsoft Photo Editor. Make any changes you want (crop, colour balance, sharpen/soften, despeckle, etc. but don't resize it).
Upload your pic to Photobucket. Once its uploaded, hit "EDIT" and resize the pic to 800x600. You can then paste it into your post on the forum, with no lose of quality, by hitting the IMG option.
Give it a try - its well worth it.
Cheers
