Thank you for all your kind comments before. I hope these images answer your questions. Please feel free to ask.
1. Create form (1/2 in thick).
2. Crinkle foil and place it underneath. Use a styrofoam base.
3. Square dimensions and pin down form.,
4. Pour plaster of paris (it sets quickly) screened it off level.
5. Remove pins that secured form and turn over. remember the foil side is side you most want to show.
6. Carve stone to your own design.
7. I let the plaster set for several days before painting.
