I know that title had to get a bunch of you to look at first glace - especially since it came from "Bolivia Ron" ;)

But, Really - Lets talk about how many different Lines / Ranges everyone is collecting of King & Country.

I am going to let someone start first.....so here we go............:rolleyes:
 
Normandy,North Africa(ea&ak),Bulge,WSS,Charge of the Light Brigade and shortly Napoleonics & WW1.Thats enough for now!

D-Day, Waffen SS, Afrika Corps, Eight Army, Special Forces (Iraq/Afghanistan), all strictly limited items from any series, Warbirds, Vietnam, Crusaders, glossy Streets of Hong Kong, Silk Road, Fall of Berlin, Battle of the Bulge, Arnhem, Civil War, World of Dickens, all of the Diorama Materials/Buildings, and all of the old glossy series (Seaforths, Zulus, Afghans, Commemorative Editions, Camel Corps, K&C Field Force, Ceremonial, Lancers, Rough Riders, Remember the Alamo, Napoleonic, American War of Independence, Hong Kong Police, personalities, a Day at the Races, Golfers, Mounties), and the wood, resin and metal Normandy Vehicles.

I don't collect matt Napoleonic, LAH, the West, matt Remember the Alamo, matt American War of Independence, matt Ceremonial, Imperial China, and the jury is still out on WWI.
 
I collect mostly all the lines of World War II. D-Day, WSS, LAH for the most part, but because of the beautiful poses and detail I have also bought a few sets of the Afrika Korps and Fields of Battle.. I also have all of the Battle of the Bulge sets, as well Germans as Americans. I wasn't gonna collect them at first, but since my holiday in Bastogne a year ago, I started immediately.. And They look absolutely great in my cabinets :D And now as all of the WWII collectors I'm saving my Euros for the new Arnhem series and hopefully also new Fallschirmjäger sets.. Except for the Kubelwagen and the Communications I have them all. Now I want to add the Red Devils to my collection. Knowing Andy I'm sure that it will be more than worth the money I'm saving.

OK - My Turn

My King and Country Collection is as follows:

Napoleonics

American Revolution (Old and New)

Civil War (Old and New - although I havent bought any yet! - will soon)

Romans - (Old and New) - and the Barbarians (Old and New)

Crusaders and Saracens

World War II DDay - Americans (some not all)

World War II AK - Germans Only right now.

Battle of Bulge - All Germans and few select American Sets

World War I

Fields of Battle - some not all

This is has been a very exspensive year for me in the Toy Soldier Collecting Hobby - thats for sure. :D
 
I collect DDay, WWI, some Napolieonics, Winter Germans, some Afrika Corps, Charge of the Light Brigade, and I will be adding Arnhem. It has been an expensive year. :eek:
 
I'm currently getting Napoleonics (my favourite line), Crimean War, WWII vehicles and will probably cave in and get some WWI shortly.

I try to collect all WW2 but is it me or are we collecting at too great a rate to sustain? My wallet says so but it is the cost of the projected building work that really bugs me!;)

I will also get the awesome Light Brigade because I dare not collect Napoloenics and these are fantastic in their 'nice uniforms' - but I hope in limited numbers - are you listening Mike, Tony, Bob and Andy:mad: :eek:

Perhaps the lottery would solve the problem - perhaps we should start a what if thread.....:(
 
That didn't come out right and I tried to edit it - presumably once it has gone it is there?
