Rob

Rob,

Actually a lot of my purchases came from ebay sales of things that I didn't need any more or didn't want as much as I wanted a K & C set. For example, last year, I financed all the 2006 EA releases through ebay sales.

Unfortunately, I'm running out of things I want to sell so I'm becoming more selective in what I buy.

Yes, and my wife is very understanding.

I think your ebay policy is very sound.I sold some 1/6 scale figs that i once collected, and its great to spend that profit on K&C.

Rob

Of course Simon - you know what that means......

NAPOLEON !

:D ;) :)

It had to be done.

I have traditionally done 9 lines but this year I am bumping up to 13

Here's my breakdown:

K&C

DDay
Waffen SS
Battle of the Bulge
Special Forces
Scenics
Yanks
Fall of Berlin/ Eastern Front

East of India
Samurai

St. Petersburg
Teutonics

This year, I am adding the following to the list:

K&C
Iwo Jima- it's about time!!
American Revolution

East of India
Ancient Greeks and Persians

St. Pete
Romans
Greeks- as needed

I wasn't too impressed with the KC WW1 line right now but am fully confident that will change in the upcoming years. I am going to plunge into the KC American Revolution line here soon as well- they are really neat figures and I could easily see myself buying ranks and ranks of riflemen.

I have some Forces of Valor and Britains Knight of Agincourt figures. Since I have joined this forum, I have been enticed to look closer at the Honour Bound figures.

I have decided to not collect FOB- Chewed on it for awhile but I also think I am going to pass on Eighth Army and Afrika Korps- just because I don't own anything from there yet and will probably just look to take the plunge with the Arnhem releases- especially since I missed them the first go round.

KC
Fall of Berlin
Afrika Korps
Strictly Limited Editions
WWI

John Jenkins
Everything!

St. Petersburg
Romans
U.S. Civil War
Napoleonics - mostly French
WWII - personality figures
Ancients - a few
WWI - Germans
Elite Warriors - limited to 100 (mostly European Kings)

Honour Bound
WWII

This is great - its wonderful to know what everyone is collecting. :)

Anyone else ??

When i posted earlier i only listed my K&C collections.I also have the following:

Toy Army workshop; WW1
Britains; ACW
Trophy,Ani; Zulu war
Del Prado; Individual soldiers with magazine
Airfix; 1/72 and 1/35 WW2 Plastics.

Rob

I have all the Bastogne sets, the majority of the D-Day paratrooper sets (I am re-creating the battle at St. Mere-Eglise), Normandy, and am working on Iwo Jima next. I just started a couple years ago but it has really become a passion. A lot of people don't understand it. I'm glad I can come here and talk to other collectors.
