Hi guys,

may i ask how many of you guys are getting the WS103 88mm Flak 18 (sf1.) aufZugkraftwagen?

I haven't make up my mind on this one yet..

Do you think Andy will make the Afrika Korps Flak 88 in the future?

Sincerely,

Nasir Kasmani.

My order is in with George already. I wouldn't wait as we don't know how many will be made.

I'm definitely tempted! It ticks all the right boxes as far as my usual collecting interests are concerned; late war, regular Wehrmacht, etc.

For some reason though the classic image of the 88 I'd have in my head is on the ground mounting, with frontal shield - I'd prefer that type to a vehicle mounted version, so might hold on and see for a little while yet.

Still relatively new to this, so not sure, but did K&C Previously release a version like that?? For reference, please see the attached link:

Nope: I will wait to see if there will be a AK 88 with it's own wheels. Not impressed with the enclosed cab and gun. Leadmen

I am pretty sure there will be an AK version some time soon

i have the same image - rommel standing besides the 88mm, 2 icons of the Afrika Korps might together :)

:) I will pass on the 88th Gun Mounted on the Prime Mover Track Vehicle! I would have rather Andy, made a Flakerving Quad 20mm Mounted on a Prome Mover instead! Speaking about Andy, making an 88th Gun for DAk is Fine, but Most Collectors have the WS52, and WS57, which could be Repainted, but we do NEED an AWESOME Crew, for Wehrmacht and DAK!Possibility LUFTWAFFE Tunisian Crew, or DAK Crew for N. Africa!

Yes NK,I pre-ordered, it seems to me that the 700 limit on this Normandy version, is just that.

I think, because this type WS103 88 mounting was produced before the war and took part in the fighting in Poland & France, we will see more in gray, desert, and possible SS colors.

I'd watch Figarti for the next 88.

My 2cent's.

I think you have to pick one up and see what happens to the AK version - at least you will have one.

Yep got to get this beast,it looks too good to miss.I would also welcome either a desert or Bulge 88mm.

Definitely getting it! Just received the American M12 today and if the new 88 is that good its going to be a real beauty.

Leadman.

I have to agree with you there. Not only AK but winter, gray and camo version to accommodate other battles would be nice too but who knows I might be tempted to but this KC set when I see it in person.

You have that right Saber. I have that piece too and both the M12 and figures are superbly done IMO.

K&C advertised the M12 as a part of a new "king sized" vehicle line or such, so I hope they are going to introduce more pieces like it. The vehicle is just awesome as well as the crewman:cool:. It defintily helps out with the arty shortage!

Sorry boys, no interest in yet another 88. Someone else can have mine.

Gary

I'm very interested in this set, because it's a formidible looking beast and I don't have an 88 in toy soldier scale. The limited edition size suggests another paint variant might be in the works, just like the King Tiger, Char, StuG and Chaffee. I wish I knew if it was going to be reintroduced in gray later on. Since it's an early war vehicle that variant might be tempting too, but I'd only want one not both. If no other paint scheme comes out, then it would be hard for me to pass up such a cool looking halftrack, despite the nasty price tag.
