How much does investing guide your purchasing decisions? (1 Viewer)

I am strictly a buyer and would not sell any of my figures. Mostly of the AeroArt line over the last ten years. At first I bought about anything that was new because they are so fantastic - Romans, civil war, Mongols, Greeks, Napoleonics. Really spellbinding pieces of art. After a while I become more selective due to space concerns and focused more on quality and those historical periods that I am most interested (WW I and II). I will say that once you have spent a certain amount you at least hope that they retain their value. Anyone that approaches this as an investment will probably be disappointed. That is mostly a matter of luck with collectibles.

One line for ya.........It's only worth what someone is willing to pay....nothing more nothing less.............:)
