Through my own stupidity, with a little help from one of my daughters, the 4 page brochure that came with the "Winter Tiger" was almost totally destroyed. After I calmed down, I tried to think of where I could get a replacement. My daughter suggested I go right to the source, since I always spoke so highly of K&C. I e-mailed them, never really thinking I'd get a responce. A few hours later I received an e-mail from Fanny Luk, customer service, that they had located one for me and were sending it airmail at their expense. I suffer from PTSD and depression (NAM) and nice little things like this help me more than any medication. Once again, a heartful thanks to K&C for their time and effort.

This is what we are talking about here - people ! Outstanding :D

Makes me proud to be a cheerleader for King and Country.

Pugio,

I happen to have extras of several brochures so if you need anything, just let me know.

Well since my "professional" title is Director of Client Services for my company I always enjoy a good service story! It’s amazing how people’s expectations when it comes to service are set so low that when a company focuses on service how they are able to win and maintain an extremely loyal client base. Nice work Hong Kong office! :) It's not rocket science....its just good service! P.S. I'd like to thank the phone company.....post office...cable company etc. for setting customer expectations so low for the rest of us!

That,s great news that K&C replaced your brouchure. I misplaced my origional winter tiger, so all I have to do is email K&C for a replacement, sounds good to me!
Obviously just kidding, I too have had excellent costumer service from Andy and everyone else associated with K&C.

I like to hear nice stories about customer service. Wish I could say that about the toy train world:mad:

Although this is posted on another thread, I think it works here too.

Andy, I did exactly as you said, except that it was about two years ago that I asked myself that very same question.

Your great company brought me to this hobby and it keeps me collecting. The other companies are great, but it is King & Country that is and will always be the primary reason I collect.

It is not only the variety and unique models you offer, it is the way you conduct your business. You are responsive to me directly. Not too many companies do that. I say that you are directly responsive to me beyond just this forum. About 3 or 4 years ago, when I first started collecting, after I had discovered King & Country, I email you and low and behold, you personally responded. I did not like the answer I got but I got an answer from the top. And your response was not dismissive. It was cordial and informative.

Your willingness to listen, adapt your product to meet changing needs and make such wonderful collectables demonstrates to me that King & Country is the industry leader. I have hesitated in the past to make such glowing compliments due to the aggressive nature of some forum members who complain that such compliments place you on an alter and that you are then being worshiped like a King or a God. Well, I don't think you are God nor are you a king, just the top line maker of collectable miniature soldiers, vehicles and diorama material.

I take this hobby very seriously, as most of us do. I have invested a considerable amount of money in this passion and I don't waste my money on things that have no value
.:)

Brian I sent you a PM and an E-Mail about the Symposium. You coming buddy? We hope so.

I too have had to ask K&C for help with special items and situations and they are simply the best. I make my living on customer service and some people and companies JUST GET IT! Usually it's a mentality that starts at the head, Most people discover that service of others is one of the most gratifying and self fulfilling things you can do, either at work or in your personal life. I have become a service junky, anytime I can help a customer I just jump at it because I swear to you it releases some endorphins or something and I get a rush when you see someones face lite up.
it's really quite addicting,

My K&C WS69 Limited Stug was missing its limited certificate. The dealer at that time was unable or willing to help me. But one eMail directly to K&C & under two weeks later I had a replacement version in my mail box. Excellent customer service & smart business! Thank you once again!

Boy it is just great to hear these stories. I met Andy once back in 1992 and he was a very nice bloke to a new collector. It is great to hear that the company is still a bunch of great people.

When you are a fervant collector of something i.e K&C,things like Ltd ed certificates and even leaflets flyers are very much part of the whole collection. It makes things complete,so to get them replaced with ease is most welcome. Its just another of the excellant facets of K&C.
