Once had a KC WRAF figure where all the blue paint flaked off..(after being months in a display cabinet) My dealer returned the figure and i was sent a new one!! Also a Sherman from Figarti...opened the box, and most of the paint had flaked off the gun mantlet/front fenders. re-painted that myself, not a difficult task....I swear by good old Humbrol Matt Enamels, always works for me!!!!!!!.

Agreed. Andrea makes a great paint. I also use Vallejo, but prefer Andrea. (Some Vallejo dries glossy so then you have to dull cote the thing.)

I've had this happen a few times where the paint has flaked off the face of a soldier or maybe on a shovel handle. Sometimes when the paint flakes off there is white paint underneath, but most of the time there is no white paint. Every time this has happened to me, my dealer has sorted it out. A few times I have noticed tiny specks where the painter hasnt finished painting and the manudacturer's quality control hasnt picked it up
