Ken, trying to use the pointers you gave me, here's my first attempt at making a backdrop. I had a lot of enjoyment doing this but its apparent I still have a lot to learn and many artistic skills to develop

Well heck Mike, I'm certainly impressed. They look really well done. That second picture in particular, looks seamless in it's blend from dio to backdrop.

Absolutely... We will have something for you before Christmas. We will be on the road again in a few days for two more Historical Miniature events then we hunker down for the Winter. It gets cold up here in Michigan.
The backdrops, along with a number of new scenics and buildings should be nice additions to collectors setting up dioramas. Did you see the sneak peek of the French farmhouse on our other thread? This is only one of several coming.
