Hulk Hogan............. (2 Viewers)

Not a good week to be an Icon. Hogan apparently had cardiac event, assuming it must have been a massive heart attack. Another larger than life hero that certainly built out a brand. Entertained a lot of people over the years. His movies, while incredibly corny, always made me laugh. Paid the price physically in his later years from steroids, but he beat most odds. What a wild life.

A minor personality for a fake sport.
Everyone’s entitled to their opinion, but for many people, Hulk Hogan wasn’t just a "minor personality" — he was a cultural icon of the 1980s and helped bring pro wrestling into the mainstream. Yes, wrestling is scripted, but the athleticism, showmanship, and connection with fans were very real. For millions, he was part of their childhood and entertainment history.

that's a little harsh! He was the major catalyst to make wrestling a billion?s? dollar industry. He truly was an entertainment icon. Dude knew his brand just like Ozzy, Gene Simmons, etc. Love em or hate em, can't argue with their success. Hogan's estate will continue to make millions long after his death.

He's far from a minor personality, but whatever.

Yes, everyone is entitled to their opinion. I don’t recall asking for yours.

Wrestling is just show biz. All fake. Can’t get excited about it or his passing.

Sure, wrestling is show biz — but so is politics, and people still get worked up over that every day! 😄

Yeah, it’s scripted, but so are movies, and nobody says, “Nah, I can’t enjoy Die Hard, it’s fake.”

And let’s be honest — in both wrestling and politics, it’s not always about what’s real, it’s about how well you play the crowd. 😉
