Flying out of Arizona tommorow morning and heading back to my home town of Tappahannock, Virginia in the Northern neck!!! getting out of the 100-110 temps of AZ. and into the high humidity of the East coast, can't wait, crabbing,fishing,Orioles game, maybe Gettsyburg and visiting alot of old friends and family, keeping the crabs hot and the beer cold, talk to you all later fellows...Sammy

I envy you Sammy. Visited Alexandria two yrs ago. Our hotel was next to a crab house ^&grin. BTW, I'm from Baltimore, so I know good food like crabs, soft shells and crab cakes!!! Enjoy yourself. Chris

Hi Chris, actually as a child I grew ( up to the age of 8) we lived in Baltimore and I fondly remember the crab houses some of my older brothers worked at, one was right across the alley called kronburgers crabhouse...mmm, delish is what I remember of the crab cakes and cold Cokes. so really looking forward to hitting the bay this Saturday and pulling in some big blue jimmys!! BTW Chris what part of Baltimore do you reside from?? I grew up in Anne Arundel co. until we moved to the out skirts of B-more in a neat little area called Homestead Street, a few miles from old Memorial Stadium, man those were some fun times...Sammy

I don't know about VA but it's unusually cool here. In the 60's this week. I saw it was 100 in Phoenix so that may be a welcome change.

Then we would walk thru the grasses and catch a dozen soft shell crabs. Been to many Os and Colts games in Memorial Stadium.

Where do you live in AZ? Was stationed at Williams AFB in Chandler in '70s. Now a civilian airport.
