Hello Guys:
It’s been about three years since I sold anything on eBay. I’m sure a lot has changed.
I’m located in USA but planned to sell worldwide.

Need advice on:
  • What to include in my listing (conditions, refunding, shipping)
  • Best was to ship in USA or Worldwide
  • Any language needed on VAT and other hiding fees
  • Language on condition (e.g. MIB or Used)

Any "I got you's" I should watch out for?

Thank you,

Carlos

Carlos,

In my listings I include a general description of the item, what is is (i.e., K & C description, K & C number and the range). I also indicate whether I have the original box.

As far as condition, I normally indicate indicate "excellent." I don't like to indicate mint because people's interpretation may differ although it usually is. If there are known defects, I try to describe them as honesty is the best policy.

If I feel it's a hard to find or rare item, I also indicate that. I list how much is shipping and I do ship worldwide.

As far as returns and shipping, eBay requires you to indicate that so I don't add anything about it specifically in my listings.

Hope that helps.

Brad

If I may add, as payment method look into using PAY PAL it is easier and faster......

With eBay, you don't have any choice but to use PayPal.

Good quality pictures of the items are the biggest help to selling in my experience. People like looking at pictures I think.

Carlos, I know you are an experianced seller, but just to remind you. At times, be prepared for a boatload of aggrevation!

I take photos of the figure from all different positions so buyers can see the item from all angles.

If you have a smartphone, consider getting the eBay app. I post all my listings from it. Heck of a time saver.

Thanks Brad, Gary, Hunter Rose for your suggestions.

A very special thanks to Mike Miller who gave me an ear full of helpful suggestions.

BTW, Gary you're right, that's why I haven't sold anything on eBay in 3 years.

Hi Carlos
not much has changed just go to the sell selection follow the promps , choose in categories toy soldier, and when you choose postage you will have domestic, so choose a current rate of postage for the US and then go to world wide, I choose certain countries as some destinations like brazil, and other parcels go missing. I am from Australia and buy regularly from US friends and UK, France, Germany and Canada, hope this helps
ps what are you selling
all the best
