Everyday since being shut out of the Treefrog site, I have been trying to log on daily and guess what, I'm BACK!!! No bypass software was needed, I simply got through. So guys, I'll take this opportunity to update you on what is coming in July.

First of all, thank you all for your support for our small company and we have some major developments underway.

The Rossi P-40 is ready to ship out after a delay due to getting an official letter written and signed by Dick and getting a beautiful collector's certificate printed. We will be updating our website within a week and you'll see how the package looks. My Dad felt the need to make it very special for all of you who ordered the plane and it is something really special.

For those of you who collect our Iraq War collection, we are into our second editions for all earlier sets with our NEW paint standards. Expect new sets to be shown in Chicago, but not before then.

Here are some Preview of what is coming:

IWO JIMA - Our Pacific War collection will see new IWO JIMA sets and by next week, you will be able to see our first set online. With our new scultping and painting standards, I am confident you will agree with me it surpasses our earlier efforts.

"THE SIEGE OF KHE SAHN" will be launching in July and the collection will include 14 sets including armour. We will not be launching it all at once like in the past, but will complete the story before Chicago. We thought about this and decided if anyone should do the Vietnam War, Figarti should. Because we normally focus on different subject matters and Vietnam has been ignored for too long.

We will also be launching a "Free French" Tank crew to go with the "Free French" tank some of you have already bought.

The LAST of the Stuart will come the a "FREE" diorama, this limited edition 150 set piece is a British version (Different from previous) but used also in North Africa. We wil also make 150 sets of tank crew to go with it. Some of you may be tired of the M3, I am too.... so this is IT!

Well, just a short preview, more to come. Thanks to Steven, Gary and Carlos for emailing and keeping in touch with me.

I hope I am able to log in everyday, if you don't hear from me again, you know why.

Hey Rick,

Welcome back. Who really knows why you couldn’t break through before but hopefully you won’t be blocked again.

I look forward to your new Iwo Jima set and the Vietnam War release is intriguing and I can’t wait to see them.

Best of luck to you and father, I’ll see you in Chicago.

Thanks Carlos, good to know you'll be in Chicago!

Rick, good to have you posting again.
When can we expect pictures of the VietNam series?
Gary

Rick,

Glad you're back. Since I've already preordered the British Stuart (got number 1, whenever it comes out), that diorama will be a bonus. Can you post pictures of it?

Also, now that you're done with the Stuarts, what will you be doing for WW 2 tanks. I hope it's North Africa!

Rick,
Your upcoming Vietnam range is a nice surprise! I haven't started collecting Figarti figures yet, but it looks like that will change soon! This is great!
Justin

Rick, I look forward to seeing your Iwo Jima figures. Will you be producing more figures from other Pacific War battles in the future? Would love to see a good Pacific series to collect.

Rick

It's sad you are going to stop production of the "Stuart". This is the item that got people to stop and look at your company.
Without your Stuart which I first saw a picture in Chicago in Sept 2005, I would have never know about China's WWII figures you were making.
Think about it! DON'T EAT THE GOOSE THAT LAID THE GOLDEN EGG

Chuck,

How many Stuarts can you make after all. Sometimes, you have to try new things.

I am thinking about the ones used on IWJ and the other islands in the Pacific.
They were used in so many places with very little notice.

I'm not sure I understand. What you say is true but as to making something different, I'm not sure what that has to do with the point as they've made 4 or 5 different Stuarts. Now that people know them, they just have to make different things.

Has anyone made the later M5 Stuart yet?

I think we will consider the M5 (No more M3's), but not in our plans to show at Chicago this year. We have other NEW items we are anxious to show at Chicago.

Rick

PS- BTW, I just found out that it wasn't just luck that I am now able to log onto the forum, Peter,my MIS guy actually contacted the server provider for Treefrog in CANADA to remove us on its "BLOCK" IP Address list. So, it was NOT the Chinese government afterall, it was the Canadians!!!!:D

I always had some questions about those Canuks! I always thought that anyone who liked jelly donuts and beer (The Great White North, just in case anyone remembers) was someone who should be watched very, very closely.

Jelly donuts and beer, that's just weird  At least they don't drink their beer warm like those pommy guys :)

I never saw someone drink a beer with jelly donuts here in Québec. The ones you saw must live in the other part of Canada:D.

Pierre.
