Cheers for the likes and comments guys !
Yep, I enjoyed doing the Jungle set up more than the urban ones !
Hitting the right note for modern urban warfare in a Oriental / Colonial setting, needs more study to capture the alienist of it to Western eyes.
Along with improvements with new details I've added to these urban scenes such as the Coloured smoke, Magazines, Posters and spent Cartridge cases. Anyone have any ideas for a simple way of making Louvre window shutters ?
Will need a few more figures from K&C to evolve the diorama scenes. Got two mules and a casualty set ordered and will do some more scenes when the range has expanded a bit more.
Working out some ideas in my head for a perimeter section of a Firebase to include, Bunker, slit trench, watchtower and barbed wire entanglements.
Also thinking of options for constructing a Rice paddy.
Should of snapped up a couple of the TG Bamboo huts when they came out a couple of years ago for a village !
Airfix do a hut on stilts that may be an idea though they're 1.32 scale.
Using Bamboo Barbecue skewers may be another way of making huts sticking them on backing boards.
