It all differs depending on material and some packaging is very good.

With K&C, I would be careful with the foam. I'm not sure it stays in tact over the years. Some foam material dries out and actually sticks to the figures.

Again tho, I don't know if K&C uses that type of foam.

Update

The seller contacted me through great detective work and offered a refund. I declined since I am taking the responsibility for reading the description too fast. I stated that I have purchased items before from the seller, and I will purchase from the seller again. I never had any issues with any items before and believe the seller is a stand up person. I never meant to imply that the seller was bad, I just do not like sellers using stock photos if an item has been displayed or missing something.
